Unique Collections by Lanzante at Goodwood

Lanzante has shown a range of ultra-exclusive vehicles at the Goodwood Festival of Speed throughout the years, some of which have been the subject of the most heated discussions over the action-packed weekend. Like usual, this year won't be an exception. The British automotive engineering experts will debut a variety of unique and collectible goods alongside the automobiles. Several of the concepts that were showcased at the Festival served as inspiration for these products.

A small batch of collectible designs honouring three notable projects have been produced by the Lanzante team in a limited run.

Three unique t-shirt designs that will only be offered for a very short period of time each will be the highlight of the 2023 Lanzante capsule collection. The "Run to the Limit" collection will be made available on each of the Festival of Speed's three public days, but only 30 of each model will be made available, and only for that one day. No further instances of these limited edition products will be made available, ensuring exclusivity, until they are sold out, or until the end of each day of the Festival. Each t-shirt design is created by Stanley/Stella, a devoted supporter of the Fair Wear Foundation, which seeks to better working conditions for garment factory employees. These t-shirt designs are made entirely of certified organic materials.

In collaboration with the famous design firm at Garage Welt, a selection of limited-edition skateboard decks will also contain two of these artworks, including a distinctive double vehicle design. Each of them will have a unique number, and only 50 of each design will be sold at the Lanzante booth this weekend.

The first of them is a single deck image that shows the 930 TAG TURBO, the team's most recent creation, as an example. The design has the recognisable red and white chevron livery, paying homage to the livery of the McLaren racers that won back-to-back championships and whose road-going vehicles are powered by real, historically accurate TAG Formula 1 engines. In honour of McLaren's 60th anniversary and Porsche's 70th anniversary of the 911 model, two 930 TAG Turbo models will make their public debuts at this year's Festival of Speed.

The second illustration shows a McLaren P1 project that incorporates the High Downforce Kit, or "HDK." The ultra-limited edition P1 HDK has enhanced suspension, a wider rear wing, and substantially redesigned bodywork to produce and control the added downforce. Last year's Festival of Speed included this Verde Ermes-finished vehicle as Lanzante also unveiled its track-side brand structure.

The finished artwork is a diptych that celebrates two recent McLaren models that the Lanzante team created and built. It is shown over two boards. F1 GTR #019R, the first of the "longtails," and P1 GT-3, both finished in dazzling black, have both received a thorough engineering refurbishment since the days of track action. Both have been upgraded to roadcar standards and adapted for usage on public roads. Inspired by photographs taken when both cars were together, just after the Lanzante crew finished building them, the artwork depicts the two vehicles from above.

For the Goodwood Festival of Speed, a new boutique shop within the track-side Lanzante stand will sell more branded merchandise. The Ganesh Signature collection includes pinbadges, keychains, a weekend bag, a variety of t-shirts with the Lanzante logo, and other little mementos of the Festival weekend. As this is a British engineering business participating in a British event, an umbrella is also included in the selection.
