After getting permission from the government of The Bahamas, Royal Caribbean International, the largest and most popular cruise line in the world, will begin construction on the first Royal Beach Club. The Royal Beach Club at Paradise Island, a 17-acre destination experience set to open in Nassau, The Bahamas, will mix the island's beautiful beaches with the cruise line's signature offerings to create the ultimate beach day.
Together with the government of the Bahamas, this new plan will include a public-private partnership where Bahamians can own up to 49% of the beach club. Local businesses and entrepreneurs can control the majority of the event. The building and ongoing operation of the new business will create hundreds of employment.

The 17-acre Royal Beach Club at Paradise Island introduces a public-private partnership, a unique investment opportunity in which Bahamians can own up to 49% equity and local businesses can manage a majority of the experience.

The vibrant Bahamian spirit and culture will come to life all over the world-class location, which includes private cabanas, stunning pools, and more. Bahamian cuisine, island-style barbecues, live music, and local artists will all be available to guests, and the local architecture will provide a fitting backdrop for the stunning scenery of The Bahamas' turquoise-blue waters and white sand beaches.

Opening in 2025, the 17-acre Royal Beach Club at Paradise Island will combine the spirit and striking beaches of The Bahamas with the cruise line’s signature experiences to create the ultimate beach day.
The beach club's total ground area will be 17 acres, including 13 acres of cruise line property and 4 acres of Crown Land. The Crown Land will be used as a form of equity in the new enterprise, a first of its kind in The Bahamas, guaranteeing the government and the people of The Bahamas a cut of the profits. Together with a brand-new tourist levy, this will be reinvested in the neighbourhood.
Government officials, local residents, and Royal Caribbean will continue working together throughout the project's growth. Opening in 2025, The Royal Beach Club on Paradise Island will have its grand unveiling in the coming months.
