Automobili Pininfarina: Welcome to the Middle East

Battista hyper GT’s record-breaking official acceleration and braking figures were revealed for the first time by luxury Italian automobile manufacturer Automobili Pininfarina. This revelation validates the Battista hyper GT’s reputation as a high-performance vehicle.

The pure-electric Battista’s one-of-a-kind launch control technology is a major contributor to its Formula 1 car-beating acceleration. It can go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 1.79 seconds, from 0 to 100 kilometres per hour in 1.86 seconds, from 0 to 120 miles per hour in 4.49 seconds, and from 0 to 200 kilometres per hour in 4.79 seconds. A vehicle that travels at the speed of the Battista requires powerful stopping power, and official tests confirm that the Battista has the strongest stopping power of any electric vehicle in the world, completing the transition from 100 to 0 kilometres per hour in just 31 metres.

As the Battista prepares to make its dynamic debut in the Middle East, the confirmed figures have been revealed. The Battista will demonstrate its unparalleled dynamic capabilities on track at the Dubai Autodrome in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Following its successful launch in Saudi Arabia, the Battista has now made its debut in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). As part of the regional activities, local retail partners in each country have been invited to participate.

Paolo Dellacha, Automobili Pininfarina Chief Product and Engineering Officer said: “I am proud that our new electric hyper GT delivers on the promises we made when we set out or development plan. In Battista, we have achieved performance beyond our original, extreme targets.”

“Perfectly optimized weight distribution and low centre of gravity are at the heart of this result.  The combination of bespoke chassis and suspension tuning, tyres proven over many thousands of test miles and four-motor torque vectoring delivering unprecedented power enables Battista to be the fastest accelerating road-legal car in the world.”

“Battista’s incredible technical package includes a carbon ceramic brake system, helping the Italian hyper GT become the fastest braking electric car in the world. Our discerning clients here in the UAE have been overwhelmed by the Battista driving experience, which is as breathtaking as its award-winning design.”

With 1,900 horsepower and 2,340 Nm of torque, the all-electric Battista is the most powerful car that has ever been manufactured in Italy. The hyper GT has a maximum speed of 350 kilometres per hour, a WLTP range of up to 476 kilometres, and a starting price of €2.2 million before taxes in the respective country. In the beginning of this year, as part of its global test and development programme, Battista’s performance credentials were recorded and verified at Nard in Italy.

Each Battista is the product of more than 1,250 hours of painstaking handiwork in Cambiano, Italy, where a maximum of 150 units will be manufactured. The new hyper GT promises new levels of bespoke tailoring, with a total of 128 million possible interior combination options. The exterior colour combinations, bespoke detailing, and exclusive aluminium Exterior Jewellery and alloy wheel designs are also available for customers to select from, in addition to the nearly unlimited levels of interior colour schemes and finishes that are available.

The Battista also comes equipped with a one-of-a-kind soundscape known as SUONO PURO. This soundscape was designed to enhance the overall driving experience and can be customised by selecting one of five different driving modes: Pura, Calma, Energica, Furiosa, or Carattere. These individual modes lend the Battista its distinctive personality and allow the driver to tailor their experience to suit their individual tastes.
