A New Vision of Luxury Hospitality with a High-Rise Tropical Oasis.

Pan Pacific Hotels Group, a subsidiary of UOL Group (UOL), a Singapore public company, has opened its newest flagship property, Pan Pacific Orchard, in Singapore. The 23-story hotel, which UOL developed and WOHA Architects created, is notable for its complexity and originality. Pan Pacific Orchard is the latest addition to the Garden City's famed Orchard Road district's green revitalization, and it ushers in a new era of graceful luxury for Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts. The hotel rises above the cityscape with dramatic terraced greenery occupying more than 200% of the land area.

Marcel NA Holman, Pre-Opening General Manager of Pan Pacific Orchard and Vice President, Operations, China, Indonesia, and Japan for Pan Pacific Hotels Group, shares: “We are proud and privileged to open the doors to Pan Pacific Orchard today. A significant milestone for Pan Pacific Hotels Group, Pan Pacific Orchard is a new landmark for Singapore's iconic Orchard Road and a showcase of our brand's commitment to graceful luxury. Our passionate team is ready to deliver our signature sincere service and create memorable experiences to delight our guests.”

The Pan Pacific Orchard, designed by WOHA as a new prototype for high-rise tropical hospitality, has 14,000 square metres of greenery and water features, a high-ceiling open-air lobby, and energy-saving features like rainwater collection, solar panel technology, and a bio-digester system.

Forest, Beach, Garden, and Cloud are the four expansive terrace settings that pay homage to nature via design. Massive green columns of 120 metres in height tower over the terraces, producing a spectacular display of flourishing vegetation. Open-air areas welcome fresh air and natural light for beautiful alfresco experiences, and mirrored ceilings reflect each landscape's distinctive features, from the glistening pools of Beach Terrace to the meticulously maintained lawns of Garden Terrace.

The biophilic design of Pan Pacific Orchard exemplifies the Pan Pacific Hotels Group's commitment to environmental responsibility without sacrificing the hotel's signature brand of refined elegance.

Choe Peng Sum, Chief Executive Officer, Pan Pacific Hotels Group, said: “With the launch of Pan Pacific Orchard, beautifully designed by WOHA, Pan Pacific Hotels Group is making our mark in Singapore's luxury hospitality segment. It is at the heart of the Pan Pacific mission to deliver authentic and memorable experiences to our guests, and we are excited to showcase our promise of sincere service and our vision of graceful luxury.”

Guests checking in at the Forest Terrace will find a cool, relaxing atmosphere amidst the lush vegetation. The hotel has 347 rooms and suites, all of which include cosy 400-thread-count cotton linen and high-end bath treatments from French brand Diptyque. In-room filtered water dispensers and reusable bottles made from ocean-bound material are provided to further encourage visitors to embrace sustainable behaviours.

The hotel's suites, Pacific Club Rooms, and Pan Pacific Discovery members have access to the Happy Sleepers programme, a therapeutic offering from Pan Pacific Hotels & Resorts that includes thoughtful amenities and activities designed to increase sleep quality. There will initially be a pillow menu to accommodate a variety of preferences, with the following additions: in-room meditation and yoga, tailored eating selections, and high-end toiletries.

Club visitors get priority service at check-in and check-out, as well as use of the Garden Terrace's luxurious Pacific Club Lounge, which can accommodate up to 130 people in comfort. The Pacific Club Lounge is a private sanctuary with indoor and outdoor alfresco areas that look out over the Garden Terrace's planted lawns and cabanas. It is furnished with custom-designed pieces and has countertops topped with leathered marble imported from Italy.

The Atelier-in-Residence programme at Pan Pacific Orchard will shortly be unveiled, with the hotel playing host to a collection of exclusive, handcrafted Singaporean labels. On the 11th level, businesses will have the opportunity to host their own events, which may take the form of anything from workshops to exhibitions to speeches.

Mosella, the premier restaurant at Pan Pacific Orchard, offers a unique take on Mediterranean food with a Peruvian touch and views of the lush landscaping of Forest Terrace. Florette, the newest destination bar in the neighbourhood, is the place to go to enjoy the greatest oysters of the season and a glass of Champagne (or two) from one of the city's top Champagne lists, which includes growers' Champagne, rare vintages, and the classics.

Singapore's Orchard Gin, a collaboration between Pan Pacific Orchard and the country's first gin distillery, Tanglin Gin, is also available. Crafted in small amounts using botanicals inspired by the inviting smell of Pan Pacific Orchard, the handmade libation harkens back to the days when nutmeg plantations blossomed along Orchard Road.

The 18th floor's dreamlike Cloud Terrace features a variety of splendid venues for "events in the clouds," the centrepiece of which is the exquisite pillarless 600sqm Claymore Ballroom, one of the highest in the city, offering immersive visual experiences with a panoramic LED video wall, natural daylight filtering in from floor-to-ceiling windows, and enchanting garden views. Claymore Ballroom can host up to 420 guests, making it ideal for lavish outdoor celebrations.
