A Breath of Fresh Air on Le Morne Peninsula in Mauritius.

After a lengthy period of refurbishment, Paradis Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa is pleased to once again welcome visitors to its newly renovated facilities. With this €12 million makeover, the resort is sure to remain a favourite among families as the new season begins. On October 15, 2023, the hotel reopened to the public.

The restaurants at Paradis Beachcomber are getting a facelift so that they can keep up with the changes while still offering a warm welcome and an impressive selection. There are now three available locations. Blue Marlin's new direction is in line with the restaurant's refined ethos; by daringly revisiting the classics of global cuisine, the chef's imagination elevates the flavours of the sea and land, giving dishes from Mauritius and beyond a refreshingly original spin.

Beginning on November 15th, visitors to Zest may relax in the shade of the beachside canopies or the rattan loveseats overlooking the lagoon while feasting on the Mediterranean-style tapas and other small meals served in the restaurant's open kitchens. Last but not least, Zest Bar & Lounge provides a romantic setting for couples with its ocean-facing bar and exclusive lounge. It's ideal for people who value life's finer pleasures, and not only because of the breathtaking sunset views.

The hotel's 120 guestrooms and eight suites have taken on the hotel's new personality via a whimsical combination of volumes while maintaining the same high standards of comfort and adaptability to meet the needs of families of all sizes. This is a chance for the hotel to put its own stamp on the concept of tropical elegance by promoting a way of life that emphasises the outdoors while giving in to the welcoming warmth of plush surroundings. The Senior Suites will resume regular business hours on November 15th.

Using water that has been treated and recycled, the hotel's golf course has been updated in a sustainable and cutting-edge way by installing 800 sprinklers strategically placed throughout the course to allow for precise watering. The Beachcomber Group is making this effort as part of a larger initiative to save water, which is becoming increasingly limited. Beginning October 21st, golfers of all skill levels will have more opportunities to hone their game.

The group's convictions drive Beachcomber's growth, and the company has a history of supporting efforts to improve environmental and community standards. In recognition of their efforts, Paradis Beachcomber, Dinarobin Beachcomber, and Beachcomber House, the company's headquarters, have all received EarthCheck's highest rating this year: Gold. This international environmental and social benchmarking scheme evaluates hotels on their commitment to sustainability, community service, and cultural diversity using almost 260 criteria assessed in yearly independent audits. Beachcomber has earned EarthCheck Gold certification more quickly than any other hotel chain in Mauritius.
