The Ultimate Heaven in Emilia Romagna

The Motor Valley Fest, held annually in Emilia Romagna, is a celebration of Italian automobile greatness. The UNESCO World Heritage Site city of Modena and its surrounding regions will serve as the festival's epicentre in the Emilia Romagna region known as "Motor Valley." Test drives, the grand reopening of the Automobili Lamborghini Museum, and plenty of other events, along with live music, delicious cuisine, and other forms of entertainment, will fill the four days of the festival, which runs from May 11th to 14th.

Motor Valley Fest, which celebrated the car industry for the first time in 2019, has since grown into a premier outdoor festival. There will be more to see and do at this year's event than ever before, making it a must-attend for auto fans from all over the globe. These can take the shape of demonstration drives, instructional labs, exhibitions, interactive experiences in motor-specific laboratories, live performances, and insightful lectures from industry professionals.

“Emilia Romagna Motor's Valley Fest is a celebration of the rich heritage and exciting future of Italian automotive excellence,” said Claudio Domenicali, President of Motor Valley and CEO of Ducati. “We are thrilled to welcome visitors from all over the world to join us in this celebration, and we look forward to showcasing the very best of what the Italian automotive industry has to offer.”

Emilia Romagna has been called the "Motor Valley" for decades because of its significant impact on Italy's automobile industry. It is where some of the most famous car companies in the world got their start, like Ferrari, Maserati, Pagani, Dallara, Ducati, and Lamborghini. Travelers to Italy can explore the newest models from leading Italian automakers and get up close and personal with some of the most iconic cars in automotive history thanks to the country's 13 specialised museums and 18 private collections, including the Ferrari Museum in Maranello and the Ducati Museum in Bologna.

Lamborghini is celebrating 60 years in business this year, so naturally there will be special activities to honour the legendary automaker. The Automobili Lamborghini Museum has reopened for the 60th jubilee with a brand new design and layout, and visitors to Motor Valley Fest will be able to check it out. The museum's newest exhibit, "The Future Began in 1963," is bound to excite any fan of the Lamborghini brand because it traces the most iconic periods and defining moments from the company's first 60 years.

Several experts from the auto industry will be at the event to share their knowledge and answer questions about the current state of the field and the newest developments. Among these are Andreas Cornet, Senior Partner at McKinsey, Johannes-Joerg Rueger, President of Bosch Engineering, and Lamborghini's (a brand established in Emilia Romagna) Chief Financial Officer Paolo Poma.

“Since conception, year after year Motor Valley Fest continues to establish itself as an international reference point for the world of engines. This is confirmed by the ever-growing number of participants and visitors who attend each year,” said the governor of the Emilia Romagna Region, Stefano Bonaccini. “It is a lively event, which will address the decisive challenges facing the industry – such as environmental sustainability, the development of ecological high-performance engines, the use of new technologies, new research, the need to train specialised personnel and cross-reference them with the needs of companies, and attracting the best talent globally.”

Motor Valley Fest will be followed by the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix (Imola, 19-21 May 2023), held at the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari for its fourth edition.
