THE NEW HEIGHTS OF ORIGINALITY & DIVERSITY: MOËT & CHANDON CHAMPAGNE EXPERIENCE

With the launch of an upgraded, inventive bar programme aboard the 1,200-guest Vista on May 20, 2023, Oceania Cruises, the world’s foremost culinary- and destination-focused cruise line with The Finest Cuisine at Sea, will achieve new heights of originality and diversity. A large range of low- and no-sugar wines, zero-proof cocktails, Negronis aged in wooden barrels, and specialty beverage carts like the Bubbly Bar and Ultimate Bloody Mary Bar will all be available on Vista, the first of the brand’s brand-new Allura Class ships.

“At Oceania Cruises, we continuously strive to raise the bar on every aspect of our luxury cruise experience, with food and beverage at the top of the list,” said Howard Sherman, president and CEO of Oceania Cruises. “As Vista will present a fresh perspective on the finest cuisine at sea with an astounding array of culinary options that range from informal to the extravagant, it’s only appropriate that we build a bar program to match. From new spirits selections and a wide range of mocktails to new pairing menus and the introduction of The Moët & Chandon Champagne Experience, our teams have truly outdone themselves.”

New Concepts Including Immersive Mixology Experiences

Immersive, experiential beverage options, including specialised beverage carts like The Bubbly Bar, which will serve only Champagne cocktails, and The Ultimate Bloody Mary Bar, where customers may DIY their own brunch accouterment, will be a pillar of Vista’s bar programme. Additionally, guests will enjoy:

- A brand-new idea on Vista, The Casino Mixology Bar is exclusively dedicated to the craft of the cocktail. The bar will probably become an Instagram favourite for serving readymade Negronis straight from the barrel and awesome “Flavor Blaster Gun” cocktails that are topped with vapour filled bubbles with aromatic flavours. It also boasts a unique selection of bourbons and ryes in addition to tableside preparation of cocktails and spirits.

- Onboard Oceania Cruises’ famous Martinis bar, Mermaid Gin and Vodka, made from botanicals obtained sustainably on the Isle of Wight, are reviving the drink that bears its name. The new martini menu offers a range of drinks that pay homage to some of the greatest actors and actresses in Hollywood, including Lady Hepburn, Bogard’s Casablanca, Blue Eyes Sinatra, and Notorious Bond.

- In addition to ready-to-drink Italian options like Crodino, San Pellegrino drinks, and Campari sodas, Baristas, a beloved destination onboard for a wonderful coffee, will debut a new drink menu with inventive cocktails that feature Amari, an Italian herbal liqueur.

Complementing the Finest Cuisine at Sea

Drinks go well with food, and Vista’s restaurants’ new beverage ideas are excellent. A broad variety of guilt-free and artisan goods are included as a novel approach to enhancing The Finest Cuisine at Sea.

- The Aquamar Kitchen, a brand-new concept on Vista that serves lean and nutritious food, will concentrate on low- and no-alcohol beverage alternatives. The top non-alcoholic spirits manufacturer in the world, Lyre, will bring its organically derived spirits to Vista, including Amalfi Spritz, Dry London Gin, American Malt Whiskey, and White Cane Spirit Rum. The drink menu at Aquamar Kitchen will feature cocktails like the Skinny Mimosa, Innocent Kir, Pure Amalfi Spritz, Passion Fruit Colada, Dark and Spicy, and NO-Groni in addition to sophisticated non-alcoholic “wines” from Pierre Zéro.

- The hallmark restaurant for Oceania Cruises will be called Ember, and its cuisine will combine innovative American inventions with time-honored classics. Themed cocktails ranging from lengthy drinks to more aperitif-style ones, such California Dreaming, First Avenue, Sicilian Godfather, and Tennessee Nights, are available here to match with distinctive wines, handcrafted beers, ryes, and bourbons.

- Asian beers, various sake varieties, and cocktails honouring Asian tastes like ginger, turmeric, coriander, and lychee will be included on the concentrated beverage menu at Red Ginger, Oceania Cruises’ outstanding Pan-Asian restaurant. Tokyo Whisper, Oriental Pear Mule, Asia Daisy, Namaste, and Hanoi Nights are a few new beverages you must try.

Inspired Partnerships for Exquisite Pairings Menus

The most enthralling, joyful, and remarkable times in our lives have come to be associated with champagne. A stunning new partnering experience debuts along with the release of Vista.

- The Moët & Chandon Champagne Experience is a mouthwatering three-course pairing feast with rare vintages that is debuting on Vista. A cured beef tenderloin will be served at the conclusion of the meal with the exquisite and sophisticated Moët & Chandon Imperial Rose Champagne. The meal will begin with a Mediterranean sea bass tartar matched with the mature 2013 Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage Brut.

- With two expertly created epicurean excursions to choose from, Vista will soon offer connoisseur wine pairing lunches. Five distinct meals with Mediterranean influences are offered on the menus, each coupled with a fine wine. The head sommelier will discuss the idea of each dish pairing and their taste characteristics with the bar, restaurant, and galley staff.

- The private dining space Privée aboard Vista will feature the Dom Pérignon Experience, a hallmark Oceania Cruises experience since 2019. Each and every genuine foodie and Champagne enthusiast should try the six-course tasting menu. Each of the three vintages of Champagne is expertly paired with two dishes that are especially designed to highlight the subtleties of the grapes and the ratio of the blend, highlighting every facet from a delicate, effervescent aroma to a vibrant, gratifying finish. Courses include seared wagyu beef with octopus tempura, scallops rossini with mole negro, black truffle risotto, Brittany blue lobster in yellow curry broth, and sakura tea geisha flower ice cream with lemon caviar as the finale.

“To develop Vista’s new bar program, I worked hand in hand with our culinary team to bring naturally sourced ingredients to our cocktail crafting process, like the creation of homemade syrups and reductions,” said Daniella Oancea, corporate beverage manager of Oceania Cruises. “On Vista, having a drink will be an experience unto itself - from the beauty of watching a skilled bartender smoke an old fashioned to the tableside preparation of an espresso martini.”
