The MIAMI HOTSPOT: An Unforgettable Setting

The Riviera Dining Group’s lively restaurant MILA, famed for taking patrons on a “MediterAsian” adventure, is expanding by 7,900 square feet. A new second storey will be added as part of the Miami hotspot’s development, containing the MM Club, MILA Omakase, and MILA Lounge.

“The additional concepts provide the opportunity to lead the luxury and lifestyle industry in South Florida,” said Gregory Galy, CEO and Founder of RDG.

Members are welcomed into a dark, intimate environment at the ultra-private MM Club, which offers specialised food items and a luxurious spin on the traditional speakeasy. All RDG locations provide tailored programming and member benefits including privileged seating and unique configurations thanks to MM.

As guests enter the enclosed space at MILA Omakase, where the dramatic omakase countertop, the enormous Cherry blossom tree, and the 10 chairs are exposed, time seems to stand still. Additional wine and sake pairings will be included in the 15-course event that is based on the 52 microseasons of Japan.

Evenings at MILA Lounge continue with light appetisers, creative mixology, bottle service, music from renowned DJs in the business, and a hidden and upgraded nightlife experience. Warm glow lighting, wooden ceilings, and dramatic lush flora hanging from the walls will establish the mood.

Lazaro Rosa-Violan and Olya Volkova were in charge of the expansion’s design. Lazaro is a well-known designer that has had pieces featured in some of the best journals in the world. He claims to be a wanderer and atmosphere maker and is from Spain. Volkova, a talented Los Angeles-based designer who previously oversaw the initial design of MILA, has projects across the United States. Together, the designers used many aspects to produce an unforgettable setting.
