The Ferrari Testa Rossa J, An Electric Twist on Luxury Shopping.

The Little Car Company, which is responsible for producing the limited edition 75% scale Ferrari Testa Rossa J, has shown its brand-new exhibit at Harrods, which is widely considered to be among the most prestigious luxury department shops in the world. The Little Car Company and Harrods have collaborated to create an immersive exhibit of the Ferrari Testa Rossa J. This display provides customers with the extraordinary chance to have a close look at the vehicle's inside.

The exhibit piece showcases the Testa Rossa Jat in its most impressive form. It is located in the Technology Hall on the fifth floor of Harrods. For the purpose of providing a dynamic picture of the scaled-down and electrified classic, the automobile is mounted on a plinth that is inclined. Exhibited in a particular historic livery of Blu Nart and Bianco Cervino, the Testa Rossa J is characterised by an exterior that is the traditional Ferrari Rosso Corsa red. Additionally, it is accented with beautiful Beige Tradizione leather and a tone-on-tone stitched interior.

The vast personalisation options that come with owning a Ferrari Testa Rossa J are also available to customers, who have the opportunity to try them out. Customers are able to explore a variety of leathers and paints through an immersive sample pod that is located behind the display. This pod provides a preview of the many different colour schemes and combinations that are accessible to them.

Only 299 Ferrari Testa Rossa Js will ever be produced, and each one of them will be conceived and constructed utilising the original blueprints that are held by the team at Maranello. This project is being carried out in collaboration with Ferrari Classiche.

A commemoration of one of the most legendary racers in the history of motorsport, the Ferrari Testa Rossa J is the product of intensive study and design. Particular attention was paid to the spectacular liveries that were used to decorate the 250 Testa Rossa during its entire racing existence. The findings of this research have been included into the process of customisation that comes with owning a Testa Rossa J. Fourteen historic liveries, fifty-three bodywork colours, and a variety of racing liveries are all available for selection.

Ben Hedley, CEO of The Little Car Company, said: “The Ferrari Testa Rossa J celebrates history, legacy, and the very best of craftsmanship, and we believe that it is only right for it to be displayed in one of the world’s most prestigious and iconic luxury department stores. The expansion of our presence at Harrods is a testament to the ever-growing strength of our relationship and the alignment of our shared values in creating an exciting and immersive experience for shoppers and customers.

“Our Ferrari Testa Rossa J display will give shoppers the unique opportunity to see the car in all its resplendent glory, showcasing its extraordinary attention to detail and the expert craftsmanship that lovingly goes into each vehicle.”

A faithful and exact reinvention of one of the most renowned cars in the history of motorsport has been made possible as a result of the partnership between The Little Car Company and Ferrari. Both the steering and suspension geometry of the Testa Rossa J have been meticulously reproduced, and the body of the Testa Rossa J, which is constructed of hand-formed aluminium, goes through the exact same process as the original. Nardi, the company that manufactured the first steering wheel, is the one that provides the actual steering wheel product.

Delicate modifications also lend a touch of modernity to the Testa Rossa J. These include pedals that were borrowed from the F8 Tributo and Pirelli tyres that were installed on the wire wheels that were handcrafted and measured 12 inches in diameter. In the cockpit, repurposed instrumentation covers the dashboard. These instruments include battery temperature and charge level metres, which provide essential driving information. Additionally, a beautifully constructed Manettino, which drew inspiration from the Ferrari 812 Superfast, gives the driver a choice of various driving modes.

Four driving modes are available, catering to drivers of all ages and abilities:

  • Novice mode: 1kW / 24km/h

  • Comfort mode: 4kW / 40km/h

  • Sport mode: 10kW / 80km/h

  • Race mode: 12kW / 80km/h

Three batteries, all of which are located at the front of the vehicle, can power the electric engine in various ways. The range of the vehicle is approximately 90 kilometres.
