MARTINI CELEBRATES 160TH ANNIVERSARY IN MILAN.

In the Italian hot spot DAZI Milano, where the famed vermouth brand MARTINI celebrated its 160th anniversary the week prior, a variety of famous personalities and elegant visitors from across the world were in attendance.

Attendees at the exclusive event included Dakota Johnson, Lucien Laviscount of Emily in Paris, Chiara Ferrangi, and stylist Harry Lambert, all of whom danced the night away to music provided by Tanani, an Italian singer and songwriter, who performed alongside internationally renowned DJs Mia Moretti and Club Domani.

Guests drank cocktails such as the classic MARTINI Fiero and tonic and a MARTINI Non-alcoholic Vibrante Spritz alongside the bespoke Elixir No. 160 and the Mirto Negroni, both of which were created by Maura Milia, the bar manager of London's multi-award winning Connaught Bar. They raised a glass to MARTINI's illustrious past and bright future.

The event also served as a celebration of the unique Italian history of MARTINI, which was created in 1863 by businessman Alessandro Martini and herbalist Luigi Rossi. Since its inception, MARTINI has had an influence on a great many aspects of culture and style. From the brand's history in the world of motor sports, which is where the now-iconic racing stripes originated, to its place in the world of fashion and the Hollywood stars it has featured in its advertising throughout the years.

Victoria Morris, Global Vice President of MARTINI said, "Tonight we celebrated MARTINI's iconic heritage and its enduring association with Italian style and culture, whilst giving our guests a preview of its magnetic future. It's an honour to be part of MARTINI's story during such a landmark period in its history, as we toast to the next 160 years of Italian taste."
