Lady-Datejust: Distinguished by its Elegance and Refinement.

The Lady-Datejust is the quintessential Rolex watch for women, condensing all the best features of the Datejust, the brand's most iconic timepiece and a byword for chic practicality since its introduction in 1945. The Lady-Datejust, a date chronometer designed for ladies that debuted in 1957, retains the Datejust's class while being more comfortably proportioned to a smaller wrist at 28 mm.

There are a wide variety of the Lady-Datejusts available, including those that are studded with diamonds. The Lady-Datejust is available in a wide selection of metals, and its bracelets and dials may be customised in many ways. The bezel of the Lady-Datejust might be domed, fluted, or studded with diamonds.

A Lady-18-carat Datejust's yellow, white, or Everose gold case radiates a unique light. Rolex uses only the finest raw materials when alloying its gold at its own foundry. Rolex gold watches are made with painstaking precision at every stage of production, from casting to sculpting and polishing the gold. Rolex's Everose gold is a patented 18 ct pink gold alloy that was produced and named after the company.

Rolex re-defined its Superlative Chronometer certification in 2015, and the Lady-Datejust is included in its protection. With this special label, Rolex guarantees that every watch it produces meets the standards set by the company in its own laboratories and according to its own standards. When the watch's movement has been housed in its case, it must pass additional certification tests to ensure it will function at a high level while worn. Every Rolex comes with a five-year international warranty and a green stamp representing the watch's Superlative Chronometer rating.

Rolex double-checks the accuracy of every movement, including those certified as chronometers by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC), to make sure they pass their own, more stringent standards. The rate deviation permitted by the brand for a completed watch is substantially less than that approved by COSC for formal certification of the movement alone; hence, a Rolex Superlative Chronometer has an accuracy of the order of 2/+2 seconds per day.

The Lady-Datejust is equipped with calibre 2236, a self-winding mechanical movement entirely developed and manufactured by Rolex.

When the watch has been cased, it undergoes rigorous testing to get the Superlative Chronometer certification, utilising cutting-edge technology developed in-house by Rolex and a proprietary technique that mimics real-world situations. All Rolex watches go through a series of tests that are completely automated, including inspections of their water resistance, self-winding abilities, and power reserves. To guarantee the timepieces' dependability, durability, and resistance to magnetic fields and shocks, these tests are routinely performed alongside qualification testing throughout development and manufacturing.

The Oyster casing of the Lady-Datejust, which measures 28 mm in diameter, is a model of durability, proportion, and beauty, and is water-resistant to a depth of 100 metres (330 feet). The main body can be made from either 18-carat gold or a solid block of Oystersteel, a highly corrosion-resistant alloy. The mechanism may only be accessed by authorised Rolex watchmakers, who use a special tool to hermetically screw down the case back, which is finished with delicate fluting. With a double-sealed design, the Twinlock winding crown is completely submersible. The sapphire crystal features a Cyclops lens at 3 o'clock to make reading the date simple, and it is both scratch-resistant and anti-reflective. The Lady-mechanical Datejust's components are well-protected by the Oyster casing, which is both watertight and shockproof.

The Lady-Datejust's Jubilee and President bracelets are fitted with a concealed Crownclasp.

The Lady-Datejust may be purchased on a variety of bracelets, including the traditional Oyster bracelet with three links and a folding Oysterclasp, the Jubilee bracelet with five links that was designed for the Datejust in 1945, and the President bracelet with three links and a Crownclasp. The bracelet and case blend invisibly thanks to a hidden connection technique.

Rolex's "Easylink comfort extension link" can be found on the Lady-Oyster Datejust's bracelet. Rolex designed this link to allow the bracelet to extend by about 5 mm, making it more comfortable to wear in a variety of settings.

Rolex included their patented Easylink comfort extension link in the design of the Lady-Datejust's Oyster bracelet, allowing the wearer to quickly and easily add about 5 mm to the bracelet's length for optimal comfort in any situation.
