Italy's Maritime Excellence on Display at DIBS 2024.
At the Dubai International Boat Show 2024, which is currently on its third day and is being held at Dubai Harbour, leading Italian nautical producers are making an impact. The enterprises will provide a complete display of industry-leading mechanics, technology, design, furnishings, and components inside the "Italy Pavilion," which is organised by the Italian Trade Agency (ITA).

The Italian boating sector has maintained a strong position in trade exports, with nautical items worth a total of 110.2 million euros being sold to the United Arab Emirates during the months of January and November 2023. Italy, which boasts an export rate of 80% of ship and boat production, recorded exports of EUR 9.3 billion in 2022 (a 40% year-on-year increase) and EUR 3.8 billion in the first half of 2023 (a 4.3% year-on-year increase), thereby strengthening its position as the third-largest industry exporter globally, following China and South Korea both in terms of exports.
The Italy Pavilion at the Dubai International Boat Show 2024 will include 21 Italian firms. This pavilion is being organised in partnership with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Italian Marine Industry Association (Confindustria Nautica).

The United Arab Emirates represent one of the key export destinations for the Italian yachting industry, which closed 2022 with 88% of national shipbuilding production destined for export”.
