Hand-blown glass spheres infused with sand from around the world

Recently, Hart Shoreditch said that industrial designer Rezzan Hasoglu would be working with the hotel on an installation for the lobby. Hart Shoreditch has kept working with local artists after a successful collaboration with Atelier Roc for the London Design Festival 2022. This is part of the hotel's effort to stay true to its roots and legacy of craftsmanship.

To further integrate the hotel into the neighbourhood, Hart Shoreditch worked with acclaimed glass designer Rezzan Hasoglu to make stunning glass globes filled with sand from all over the world. Studio Sahil's founder, Hasoglu, is a talented craftsman who focuses on creating one-of-a-kind items that honour national traditions. The hotel will host her debut exhibition on April 17, 2023.

This sculpture, which has been given the name "Verrier" because it stands out, will always be in the lobby of the hotel. The silk weavers and Huguenots who settled in Spitalfields in the 17th century will be honoured by suspending delicate glass spheres from an iron structure and lighting them from the base to create mesmerising ripple shadows that complement the wrought iron spiral stairway. Copper accents and earthy tones from the sand-infused glass spheres will help guests relax and have fun while also paying homage to the region's long and varied trading past.

Hart Shoreditch is an architectural masterpiece that brings together Shoreditch's rich history and cutting-edge innovation in a way that is uniquely modern. The hotel's 126 plush rooms are a warm and inviting home base from which to tour the surrounding area. The hotel is decorated with carefully chosen books and decorative items from local antique shops, as well as custom-made carpets and fabrics from East London. Hart Shoreditch has a unique design that pays tribute to East London's history as a place where artists and creators came together.

This partnership honours the hotel's long tradition of superior workmanship. In order to keep Hart Shoreditch at the forefront of East London's artistic scene, the hotel's management has announced plans to continue working with a wide variety of artists in the future months. The rooms and common areas at Hart Shoreditch all have their own unique design and pay tribute to the building's rich history, making a stay there truly one of a kind. Shoreditch's current lifestyle is a seamless fusion of the area's rich history and cutting-edge innovation.
