Experience the Charm of Asia at Hart Shoreditch.

UBA, a stylish new restaurant that will debut on Tuesday, April 2, is coming to Hart Shoreditch this spring. With a menu that provides shared plates served against a backdrop of elaborate furnishings and lively music, guests at the hotel will be transported on a gourmet voyage through the busy streets and scented lanes of Asia's most dynamic cities.

Under the direction of intrepid chef Paul Greening, this brand-new eatery in fashionable Hart Shoreditch, East London, will provide visitors with a unique gourmet experience that embodies the hotel's vibrancy and enjoyment of culture. With the much awaited debut of UBA, Hart Shoreditch will be positioned as one of the trendiest places in town, bringing Asian flavours to the East End.

Chef Paul Greening's travels to Singapore, Bangkok, Hong Kong, and Tokyo served as inspiration for the new gourmet restaurant in Hart Shoreditch. Diners can anticipate a broad range of flavours, textures, and fragrances with shared platters that exhibit artistic flair but are steeped in tradition, reflecting the dynamic and eclectic essence of South Asian cuisine. Delicious gyoza, soul-satisfying ramen, fluffy hirata buns, dim sum, and silky sashimi are all on the menu.

The hot salmon tartare served on an ice plate with Japanese herbs, salmon roe, and nori rice crackers is one of the must-try signature dishes. Another is the filled boneless chicken wings with coriander, lime, and ginger miso dipping. Larger meals are found in the robata and teppanyaki sections, where you can find things like crispy salmon belly with gochujang brown butter ponzu, yakiniku beef ribeye with sweet potato nest, onion miso, and wasabi furikake, and lamb cutlets marinated in yuzu shisho with nashi pear tomato miso and kimchi.

A bar with a menu of well matched wines, spirits, and cocktails inspired by the team's own trips around Asia takes centre stage. The cocktail menu will feature some outstanding UBA-only specialties in addition to a number of beloved favourites with a twist. Thoughtful design was used throughout the interior to honour Asian mythology and culture while enhancing the eating experience. Adorned in auspicious shades of red and gold, the banquettes have crimson velvet upholstery and lava stone tabletops. The striking marble bar serves as a counter for eating for up to 14 people.

The image is completed with calligraphy, beautiful porcelain dishes, tiger sculptures, and designs that represent elegance and might. Up to 12 people may enjoy a private dining area, and in the summer, a bigger event space below will be available for celebrations and larger gatherings.

UBA is more than simply a restaurant—it comes from the same team that brought us the critically acclaimed Sucre, Alma, and CLAP London. This innovative new restaurant at Hart Shoreditch will provide patrons with a multi-sensory celebration of Pan-Asian tastes, inventive drinks, and serious sounds—all wrapped up in vibrant and fun packaging that reflects the character of the hotel itself—while also reflecting the varied atmosphere of Shoreditch.

Positioned in the most fashionable hotel in East London, UBA is poised to become the area's most sought-after eating venue, with plans for events and DJ nights.
