Dolce & Gabbana: 888 Brickell

In association with developer JDS Development Group, Dolce & Gabbana has announced fresh design and features regarding flexible homes at 888 Brickell, its first real estate project and condo hotel in the USA. Dolce & Gabbana’s Grand Residences are a first-of-its-kind architectural achievement that smoothly transforms into many distinct rooms and suites that may be used concurrently by owners and hotel guests without sacrificing privacy and boasting separate entrances for each.

When not in use for personal purposes, buyers of the apartments will have the option to rent out the Dolce & Gabbana-designed properties through the hotel programme. The condo hotel has 250 rooms and suites, six food and beverage establishments, a ground floor flagship restaurant, two bars in the large Grand Lobby, a pool club restaurant and bar with deck seating available day and night, a demo kitchen, and private dining. The common areas, which have been designed with a distinctive Dolce&Gabbana aesthetic, exemplify the hotel’s steadfast commitment to craftsmanship and its lifestyle-driven hospitality and premium residential experience.

Three imposing custom-designed Venetian hand-made chandeliers and a dramatic feature wall of book-matched burgundy marble are features of the big residential lobby, which is composed primarily of black marble. The interior design skillfully incorporates Dolce & Gabbana’s distinctive colours, red, gold, and black, creating an opulent and unified atmosphere. A dramatic black marble staircase that ascends to the first level serves as a focal point and sculptural element, providing access to hotel check-in, exclusive lounge areas, and private welcome areas for both residents and visitors.

Featuring a perfect combination of opulent materials, such as black and white marbles, cast glass, velvet (complete with the trademark zebra in black-on-black pattern), and polished nickel, this dramatic bar lounge is sure to be a luxury sanctuary for entertaining and unwinding. The event room, which is a double-height area with luxurious seats, a stage, and a DJ booth, is the pinnacle of the Dolce & Gabbana design experience. The room is decorated with bronze palms, deep browns and greys, and amber-coloured venetian chandeliers, all of which are accentuated by the brand’s iconic leopard print.

The designs perfectly blend Miami and Italianate glamour and grace with top-notch hospitality, showcasing the fashion house’s dedication to sourcing “fatto a mano” (handmade) and thoughtful materials.

In order to translate the thoughts and conceptions Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana articulated for the interior design of 888 Brickell, Dolce&Gabbana worked with the M2Atelier studio. Marco Bonelli and his colleagues are the architects behind the designers’ creative imaginations because of a solid working relationship and a wealth of mutual expertise gained over more than 20 years of cooperation.

The Dolce & Gabbana 888 Pool Club, which has a restaurant, gelateria, and bar with a colour scheme of bright green terrazzo and white and green striped lounge chairs, is one of the additional features. It is part of the hotel and residential complex. A double-height indoor padel court, a fitness centre, a golf simulator, and yoga and pilates studios are among the wellness options.

The rehabilitation spa will have a carefully chosen menu of custom massages and facial treatments, IV therapy, a juice bar, a thermal circuit, and a barbershop. It is expected to be a haven of calm in the middle of this busy metropolis. A 44-foot lap pool, workstation and conference rooms, billiards room, theatre, and children’s play area are among the exclusive resident facilities. The Amenity Suite as a whole perfectly captures the flair and energy of its Miami and Brickell neighbourhood setting.

Particularly at 888 Brickell Dolce & Gabbana, these innovative residences are made to be adaptable. When the owners are not using the biggest Dolce & Gabbana residence—a beautiful three-bedroom—it may be converted into hotel rooms or a hotel suite, enabling visitors to enjoy the 5-star facilities provided by 888 Brickell.

The Grand Private Residence gracefully sits next to a corner great room that opens to a spacious loggia with an outdoor kitchen. It features at least two ensuite bedrooms as well as a powder room. The main bedroom, great room, and outdoor loggia become an intimate private apartment or hotel suite when the additional bedrooms are converted into opulent hotel rooms. The well-thought-out hotel room, independent of the corner suite, is a world of its own in Dolce & Gabbana splendour, with a separate entrance from the private lobby. In comparison to the rest of the hotel and high-end rental markets, Miami’s five-star hotel and high-end condominium rental markets continue to command premium prices.

At 1,049 feet (319.74 metres), 888 Brickell, Dolce & Gabbana, Miami, will be the tallest skyscraper in the city and a stunning new addition to the Magic City skyline. It will also set a new bar for architecture. The façade will be created in partnership with the architects Studio Sofield, drawing inspiration from Milanese mid-century fashion and style as well as iconic modernist buildings.

The building stands out from its neighbours thanks to its tasteful and understated blend of matte black steel beams and ivory travertine, which gives it a particularly vertical look. The building has a gold beaded ‘necklace’ that adorns it near street level, adding a beautiful brightness and warm glitter.
