A Historic Palace Rich in Culture and Importance.

With the reopening of The Heritage Grand Perast in April 2023, the luxury all-inclusive resort brand Rixos makes its debut in Montenegro. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Heritage Grand Perast by Rixos has undergone extensive renovations over the past two years to become a luxury resort destination. Dritan Abazovi, Prime Minister of Montenegro, and François Baudin, Chief Business Officer of Rixos, signed an agreement at a signing ceremony held inside the hotel. This landmark establishment is the first hotel for both Accor and Rixos in the country.

After the renovation, the hotel's 130 guestrooms are spread among four structures (Smekja, Jadran, Grado, and Teodo) and include eight duplex suites, a Royal Suite, and a Royal Duplex Suite. Panorama, located on the first level of Smekja Palace, serves a variety of a la carte cuisine. Piazza, located on the ground floor of the hotel, has three oceanfront terraces, one of which is adjacent to the outdoor swimming pool. The hotel has a spa with a heated indoor swimming pool (18 metres long), a hammam, an ice fountain, and a private beach dock where guests can enjoy drinks and food. The hotel's concierge service can help arrange for guests the greatest private experiences, such as a unique guided tour of Montenegro or something more daring like an Eco Tuk ride around Boka Bay or a walk in Lovcen Mountain and National Park.

Perast, a gorgeous seaside town on the Bay of Kotor, has a superb site on the shores of the Adriatic Sea, and the hotel is built in a renovated 18th-century palace, one of only 16 intact palaces in the town. The beautiful Baroque style was chosen to honour the heritage of the place it was named after. The Heritage Grand Perast by Rixos, with its traditional décor and elegant furnishings that complement the town's historic architecture, boasts an immeasurably rich heritage thanks to the ambience of the modern-age Republic of Venice and is perfect for tourists seeking a luxurious and historic stay in Montenegro. The hotel's position in Perast also facilitates guests' visits to the town's many historic sites, such as its several churches and other baroque-style structures. The hotel's services and settings are perfect for the season's most popular events, including weddings, honeymoons, and extended stays at home. The panoramic terrace, with its beautiful vistas of the bay and the countryside, is a favourite venue for weddings.

Francois Baudin, Chief Business Officer of Rixos, said, "Rixos has been exploring Montenegro for some time, and we are delighted to have found such an incredible and beautiful home with The Heritage Grand Perast. The unique hotel fits perfectly with Rixos' vision of creating havens away from the busy world for guests to escape and be entertained. We're excited to welcome guests back to an iconic hotel with a Rixos influence."

Mr Branco Cupic of Imobilia said, "Over the last two years, we have lovingly and painstakingly renovated The Heritage Grand Perast, a historic palace rich in culture and importance to the local area. We're delighted to partner with Accor and Rixos, who will breathe new life into the guest experience from start to finish, welcoming existing and new guests worldwide to enjoy what they do best – creating memorable experiences."

The Heritage Grand Perast by Rixos is conveniently located between the airports in Tivat and Podgorica and is only a 20-minute drive from Kotor, another UNESCO World Heritage Site that encompasses Perast. It's about a 30-minute drive from Tivat Airport, which is located around 20 kilometres away. The drive from Podgorica to Perast is around 90 kilometres and takes about 2 hours. Kotor, which is around 12 kilometres from Perast, also has bus services. The drive from the hotel to the Rixos Dubrovnik is only about an hour and a half long.
